COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Governor Henry McMaster held a second media briefing with state emergency management officials to update the public on the state’s response to Tropical Storm Debby Tuesday, August 6, at 2 p.m.
McMaster and state officials gave the public an update on the safety measures put in place for the Palmetto State as the state waits the potential impact of the storm.
Tropical Storm Debby is expected to bring heavy rainfall to South Carolina until Friday as the storm passes through the Southeastern states.
In the Midlands the impacts of Debby have been minimal so far but there has been flooding across the state.
Even though it may not seem like there has been too much rain, state leaders warn that we are not yet in the clear.
