Two people found dead at Sumter hotel

SUMTER, SC (WOLO) — According to the Sumter Police Department, police are working to identify suspects after two people were killed in an early morning shooting at a hotel.

Officers were called at about 4:30 a.m. Sunday morning to respond to a shooting at the Sleep Inn on Broad Street, where both were found dead at the scene.

Details are not available at this time as the investigation remains in the early stages.
