Columbia Firefighters Association set up GoFundMe for firefighter injured battling structure fire

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The Columbia Firefighters Association Non-Profit has set up a GoFundMe page for a Columbia firefighter who was injured battling a structure fire on Saturday.
Authorities say Mario Trejo was one of two firefighters injured when one side of the building collapsed from the fire on West Beltline Boulevard and Brookland Circle.
Mario is still being treated in the hospital while the other firefighter was released.
So far, the non-profit has raised more than 16 thousand dollars as they work to raise 25 thousand dollars.
