Angel Vause will be back in court Monday to enter a change of plea after she rejected a guilty plea deal on Aug. 27.

Vause is charged with lying to the FBI about her whereabouts the night Brittannee Drexel was raped and murdered by Vause’s then boyfriend Raymond Moody.

In response to Vause reentering court, the family of a man falsely accused of taking part in Drexel’s disappearance held a press conference Sunday.

“We will not rest until the truth is brought to light. And those truly responsible are held accountable. Our hearts are with Brittany’s family and loved ones who deserve justice and closure. However, justice cannot be served by falsely accusing innocent individuals while allowing others who may have been involved to evade scrutiny. We demand answers. We demand justice. And we demand a system that upholds the truth above all else,” said Joan Taylor, the mother of the falsely accused Timothy Taylor.

Taylor’s family says that the False accusation caused an insufferable burden on their family and was a nightmare no innocent family should ever endure.

The family is asking members of the community to show support for Taylor and for Drexel’s family by wearing black to the hearing that we be held at 10 a.m. on Monday.
