Local Living: Morning of Remembrance, Tunnel to Towers 5k, Cayce Police Department to host fiesta

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, you can attend a Morning of Remembrance in honor of those who lost their lives on 9/11.

The 14th annual ceremony will honor military service members, first responders, and their families on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.

The ceremony will begin at 8 a.m. and ABC Columbia’s Tyler Ryan will mc the event.

The annual Tunnel to Towers 5k event starts on Friday, Sept. 13.

It is at 6 p.m. at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.

The event raises funds for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which supports our nation’s fallen and injured first responders and military members and their families.

Cayce Police Department is hosting a fiesta next weekend.

You can enjoy free food, music, crafts, and so much more.

You can also have a chance to meet Cayce Police officers and other local law enforcement agencies.

The fiesta takes place Saturday, September 21, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Granby Gardens Park.
