Deputy Killed
(WOLO) COLUMBIA, S.C. The other driver in a wreck that killed an off-duty Richland County sheriff’s deputy and his wife has been charged with driving with a suspended license. Authorities said Friday 26 year old Scotrell Praylow was charged after a records check showed his license was suspended after failing to pay a traffic ticket. Praylow faces no charges in the deaths of Derik Eidada and his wife leigh. The couple was on their motorcycle when they were hit Wednesday evening by a Chevrolet Malibu that crossed the center line of highway 391 after running off the right side of the road. Eldada Had been a deputy for 9 years. A memorial service for the couple is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church in Lexington.
