2 Lee County ambulances destroyed in fire

BISHOPVILLE, S.C. (AP) — Officials are investigating a fire that destroyed two ambulances at the emergency medical service office in Bishopville.

WLTX-TV in Columbia reported (http://on.wltx.com/15yraCV) that the Lee County Fire Department is investigating the cause of the fire Sunday afternoon.

Ten firefighters were able to control the fire in about 10 minutes.

There were no reports of injuries.

A third ambulance was damaged.
