Prince estate seeks to block Netflix documentary

(CNN)– An Oscar-winning filmmaker has made a 9 hour Netflix documentary on the late music legend Prince, but it may never be shown.

Prince’s estate is in a legal battle with Netflix to block the film’s release.

The estate has reportedly demanded changes to the documentary.

A spokesperson says they want the film to be factually correct and not sensationalize the star’s life.

Netflix did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
