Gov. Henry McMaster gives State of the State address speech

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Governor Henry McMaster delivered his 2025 State of the State Address on Wednesday, Jan. 29, at the Statehouse.

Governor McMaster opened up his speech by addressing his fellow South Carolinians.

During the speech, he touched on South Carolina’s economy growth, that has seen a large budget surplus, totaling over $1.8 billion in unexpected revenue, according to McMaster.

Additionally, he recognized several businesses that have grown in the Palmetto State.
