American Battlefield Trust hosting archaeology field school

CAMDEN, S.C. (WOLO)– The American Battlefield Trust is working with the Historic Camden Foundation.

They are bringing a Veteran-led nonprofit to a section of a Revolutionary War battlefield that hasn’t truly been explored yet.

And they are starting an archaeological dig and what’s called a ‘field school’ that will advance the understanding of the past and help current-day Veterans’ reintegration to civilian society.

On Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. at the Robert Mills Courthouse in Camden they will be going over the findings and it’s open to the public.
