School District Five names interim principal for Dutch Fork High School

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– Lexington-Richland School District Five has announced Reed Gunter as the new interim principal of Dutch Fork High.
Gunter is taking over for Dr. Gerald Gary who has been named the district Chief Operations Officer.
“As a 15 year veteran of Dutch Fork Schools, I am honored to accept the role of interim principal,” Reed Gunter said.
He currently serves as an assistant principal at Dutch Fork High School.
Prior to his position as an assistant principal at Dutch Fork High School, he was an assistant principal at Dutch Fork Middle.
Also, Gunter spent 10 years as a middle school ELA teacher while also coaching C-team football and varsity lacrosse.
“Mr. Gunter’s leadership experience and understanding of Dutch Fork High School make him the perfect candidate for this important role. I appreciate his willingness to step into this position with energy and enthusiasm. I look forward to seeing Dutch Fork High School continue to thrive under his leadership,” Chief of Academics Tina McCaskill said.
