Orangeburg County investigators seeking information in relation to fatal shooting of 30-year-old

 

 

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Orangeburg County investigators are looking for information in relation to a fatal shooting of a 30-year-old Orangeburg man, said investigators.

Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said, “We’re looking for information to bring his murderer to justice.”

On Wednesday, May 14, Orangeburg County deputies were called to an Old Elloree Road home.

Around 3:10 a.m. residents on Old Elloree Road told law enforcement that the victim knocked on their door for help.

Investigators believe the shooting may have happened at a different location and that the victim drove to the home to get help.

He was taken to a local hospital, where he later passed away.
