Lexington Police: Residents able to return home after barricade incident

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– Lexington Police say the residents of Victorian Lakes MHP are able to return home after a brief barricade incident Friday morning.

Investigators say officers responded to the area in connection with a man in a mental health crisis who was threatening self harm.

The Crisis Negotiations Unit arrived to the scene and talked to the man over the phone.

Officers were able to get him to walk out of the home and he is meeting with mental health officials to determine next steps.
