Deadly Crash In Orangeburg

Columbia, SC (S.C.H.P.)-One driver is dead, another injured, after a head-on collision in Orangeburg county. It happened early this morning along U.S. 301. State troopers say a 19-92 Mercury was traveling in the wrong lane when it struck a 19-96 Buick. The driver of the Buick died at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the Mercury was taken to a hospital in Columbia with serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
