Big things planned for the small town of Pelion at the National Night Out

PELION SC (WOLO) – Started in 1984, the National Night out celebration has become one of the countries largest community gathering dedicated to anti-crime, community, and fellowship.  Next Friday, August 8, the small Lexington County town of Pelion joins the ranks, with their inaugural National Night Out.

The event aims to bring the community, churches, schools, and of course first responders together at the Pelion Park.  There are bounce houses, live music, food, and more, starting at 6:00 PM on Friday.

There is no cost to attend Pelion’s National Night Out, and will take place at Pelion Park on Railroad Ave.
