Rep. Nancy Mace officially kicks off run for SC Governor at event from Citadel Monday

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace officially announced her bid for SC Governor on Monday.
Mace launched her campaign Monday morning from the Citadel in Charleston. Mace was the first female cadet to graduate from the military school.
The 47-year-old is currently serving her third term in congress. Mace says she would be a governor who fights for the state.

Mace joins an expanding field that includes Attorney General Alan Wilson, Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evette and Congressman Ralph Norman.
The SC gubernatorial election takes place November 3, 2026.
