SC State Guard to distribute food to families in need during government shutdown

 

 

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina State guard will distribute food from state food banks to assist families affected by the shutdown.

Wednesday, November 5, through Friday, November 7, the SC State Guard will be at Harvest Hope Food Bank on Shop Road from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day to hand out food to those in need.

This comes as Governor Henry McMaster opened the One SC Fund which is a charitable campaign that helps fund local food banks.
