Flu cases climbing rapidly across SC

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The flu is actually climbing in rapidly across South Carolina with health officials reporting doctor visits for flu like illness now well above the state’s normal baseline, according to the Department of Public Health.

Flu activity across South Carolina is now classified as high and widespread. State data also shows nearly 90 flu related hospitalizations in a single week.
