State Government offices closed Monday, says Gov. McMaster

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — Via social media, Governor Henry McMaster says state government offices will be closed on Monday, February 2nd.

“In consultation with SCDOT Secretary Justin Powell, I have directed the closure of state government offices in Richland and Lexington counties tomorrow, Monday February 2, 2026. Driving conditions are expected to deteriorate rapidly and become hazardous after sunset today with overnight low temperatures dropping into the mid-teens. Un-melted snow and water on roads is expected to re-freeze into dangerous ice that may linger to the late afternoon tomorrow.”
