GMC Tuesday Headlines: City Of Columbia To Improve Services And Support For Homeless & New Certified SC Cafeteria Program

Tuesday Headlines: Officials with The City Of Columbia say they have awarded a contract to Health Management Associates. They say through this collaboration, the consulting team will work alongside service providers, community stakeholders and individuals with lived experience to better understand current needs and improvements for the Homeless community.

Students in the Lex-Rich 5 school districted will be taking part in a new state program called Certified SC Cafeteria. District Officials say the program gives schools the opportunity to teach students where fresh produce comes from.
