Powerball ticket win to expire next week
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A Powerball winner in Columbia has until next week to claim their win, according to SC lottery officials.

Officials say the winning ticket was bought at Cheapway #16 at 1854 Shop Road.,
The ticket is worth $100,000 after a September 6, 2025 win.
The ticket matched four out of five white ball numbers and the red Powerball® number.
The ticket holder in the Midlands added PowerPlay® to double their prize to $100,000, say to lottery officials.
Also, the Columbia ticket must be claimed no later than Thursday, March 5.
Powerball tickets must be claimed at the Columbia Claims Center before 4 p.m., or if mailed, the envelope must be postmarked by the date the ticket expires.
If the prize is not claimed, the winnings will be deposited in the Education Lottery Account to support educational programs in South Carolina.
