Friday Headlines: According to the U.S. Geological Survey, yesterday at around noon a 3.0 magnitude earthquake shook the midlands. This is the fourth earthquake reported in South Carolina in the past two weeks.

Yesterday Rep. Nancy Mace announced on social media the “Death Penalty For Child Rapists Act,” which would authorize capital punishment for individuals convicted of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, abusive sexual contact offenses against a child and the rape of a child under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
