Poll shows Evette leading with GOP voters following SC State controversy

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — According to a new poll by the Trafalgar Group, Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evette is leading among primary voters in the race for the governor’s office.

A survey was conducted with 1,089 GOP primary voters.

The poll shows Evette with 25.2%, followed closely by Attorney General Alan Wilson with 23.1%. Next is Rep. Ralph Norman with 19.6%, and Rep. Nancy Mace with 15.2%. Rom Reddy received 10.1% and Sen. Josh Kimbrell received 4.2%.

The poll was conducted between May 2nd and May 5th.
