LEXINGTON SC (WOLO) – Manmade Gourmet’s Love It or Chuck It: bacon wrapped chicken tenders and ranch pickles
So this one had us from name alone…I mean bacon. Yes. Chicken? Yes. Ranch? Yes.
The title sounded amazing, but how would it taste?.
This time, Tyler Ryan (The Manmade Gourmet) and Crysty Vaughan sprung into action just like the Batman and Robin of investigative journalism.
Per usual, we tried to stick, as best we could, to the recipe that we found…
There are only a few things you need for this one:
For the bowl
- Half empty jar of dill pickle spears
- 4 chicken tenders
- 1 packet of ranch seasoning
- 4-8 slices of bacon
How to make it:
- Marinate your chicken & pickles together with the ranch seasoning for 1-24 hours.
- Take them out, add extra seasoning, wrap with bacon & air fry @ 370F for 15 mins. Take them out and enjoy!

Lessons learned / tips:
- We only let it marinate for about an hour. Longer would have allowed the flavors to mix better
- Slice down the pickles to make them thinner
