Richland One teachers, staff join together for annual new school year kick-off

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Teachers and staff across Richland One joined together at the state fairgrounds Tuesday morning for the district’s annual kick-off of a new school year.

The event included a performance by the Richland One Employee Choir and remarks from State Superintendent of Education Ellen Weaver as well as District Superintendent Dr. Todd Walker.

These educators say they are excited for another school year.

Students return to the classroom in Richland One on Thursday, August 6.
