SLED arrests Saluda man for shooting at deputies

SALUDA CO., S.C. (WOLO) – SLED has charged a Saluda County man for shooting at deputies on Monday.

Timothy Osterfield, 65, is charged with three counts of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

According to investigators, Osterfield called 911 requesting deputies to respond to his home and he fired at them once they arrived.

No injuries were reported.

Osterfield was arrested and taken to the Saluda County Detention Center.
