Man arrested for Plowden Road shooting Monday

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Columbia Police have arrested a man for a shooting on Monday.

Christopher Robinson, 28, is charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature & possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a violent felony.

According to investigators, at approximately 9:35 a.m., Robinson is accused of shooting the victim in the lower body during a verbal altercation in the 4000 block of Plowden Road.

Investigators allege that Robinson discharged a firearm multiple times during the incident.

He is being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center where bond was denied.
