Voters head to polls Tuesday in Special GOP Senate Primary

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– In our vote 2026 coverage, the Special GOP Primary to replace Lindsey Graham’s U.S. Senate seat is Tuesday.
Polls will be open from 7 a-m to 7 p-m.
If a runoff is necessary, that early voting period will be from August 19-21. If needed, the runoff will be Tuesday August 25, 2026.

Candidates have been on the campaign trail.

Current U.S Senator Darline Graham will be in Columbia at the Sunset Blvd. Lizards Thicket Monday morning and Former Governor Mark Sanford is also in Columbia, at Noon, for a stop at the Gourmet Shop.

Among the other candidates, Representatives Ralph Norman and Russell Fry, Businessmen Mark Lynch, Danny Ford II and Attorney Duke Buckner.
