Clarendon Co. deputies arrest 2 on armed robbery charge

CLARENDON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two people in connection with a September armed robbery, say deputies.

The armed robbery happened on September 8, on American Ave in the Turbeville area of the county.

Nija’Ray Singletary, 19, of Turbeville, and Quvante Pinesett, 23, of New Zion were taken into custody.

Both males were charged with armed robbery, pointing and presenting firearms, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Additionally, Pinesett was charged with possession of a firearm by person convicted of certain crimes.

The investigation remains ongoing, according to the sheriff’s office.
