1 killed; multiple injured in four vehicle collision on US-378 Sunday

LEXINGTON CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Highway patrol says one person is dead and four others are injured after a four vehicle collision on US-378 Sunday.
It happened near Tom Drafts Circle at 11:34 a.m.
According to Master Trooper Hannah Davidson, the driver of a 2010 Ford Fusion travelling east, crossed the center line and struck a 2019 Nissan Kicks, a 2016 Toyota Corolla, & a 2014 Ford Expedition, who were all travelling west.
Troopers say the passenger of the Ford Fusion died from their injuries, while the drivers of all four vehicles involved were injured and taken to the hospital.
The Lexington County Coroner’s Office has not released the victim’s identity at this time.
Highway Patrol is investigating this incident.
