April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month.

Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological disease that affects movement.

During a ceremony at the State House earlier today, Lt. Governor Pamela Evette read a proclamation from the Governor designing this month.

Officials say this month will serve as a recognition of the devastating impact of the disease.
