LANCASTER, S.C. (AP) _ Lancaster County officials are working to identify a man found dead in a burned house. Police Chief Harlean Howard says firefighters and officers were called to a home about 11:30 p.m. Saturday. The house was engulfed in flames with firefighters arrived. Howard says the State Law Enforcement Division is helping investigate the cause of the fire. Deputy Coroner Marie Broome says the victim is thought to be a 56-year-old man who lived in the home. The man’s body was found in what investigators think was the bedroom. Broome says officials are awaiting DNA testing to confirm the victim’s name.
