Man arrested for shooting into a home on Frink Street

LEXINGTON CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Chapin Police say a man has been arrested for shooting at a home last week.

Authorities say Dwight Jones, 44, is charged with attempted murder, discharging a firearm into a dwelling, possessing a weapon by a person convicted of a felony, among other charges.

According to investigators, Jones shot at a home on Frink Street after 6:30 p.m.

No injuries were reported.

Jones was taken to the Lexington County Detention Center.

Bond was denied on multiple charges, but he got a $1,000 bond on the charge of discharging a firearm in the city.
