High School Student Dies in Hunting Accident

Prosperity, S.C. (WOLO)–A Mid-Carolina High School student has died following a hunting accident. Newberry County Coroner Craig Newton says 18 year old Kendall Williams died after suffering a gunshot wound to the abdomen Sunday night off of Highway 391 near Prosperity. Williams was a senior at Mid Carolina. The school’s principal says Williams was an outstanding young man who was liked by all and will be greatly missed by students and staff alike.
