Orangeburg sheriff to give update on Holly Hill quadruple murder

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WCIV) — Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell on Wednesday will discuss the ongoing investigation into the quadruple murder in Holly Hill. A Facebook post from the sheriff’s office did not relay any more details about 10:30 a.m. press conference. According to Ravenell, an adult black male was found dead in the Old State Road home’s front yard in July. A white female was found dead in one of the home’s bedrooms while two black teen girls were found dead in a second bedroom. An 8-year-old boy was found alive in critical condition and flown to Medical University Hospital. Two people, including the father of the teen girls killed, have been arrested but on unrelated drug charges. Christopher Wright is charged with trafficking methamphetamine and Robert “Pockets” Bailey is charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession of cocaine, unlawful carrying of a pistol and an outstanding citation for driving under suspension. A special hotline has been set up for tips in the Holly Hill case. Anyone with information, no matter how seemingly insignificant, is asked to call 1-888-825-7172. A reward of $2,500 has been set up for anyone who has information leading to an arrest and a conviction. Photo courtesy of WCIV
