USC Falls Short At Texas A&M, 35-28

USC allowed a season-high 321 rushing yards to Texas A&M and freshman quarterback Kyler Murray led the Aggies to a 35-28 win in his first career start Saturday in College Station, Texas. USC converted three trips into the red zone into three touchdowns and went into halftime tied at 21 in its first ever game at Texas A&M. The Gamecocks went into the game with the worst touchdown percentage in the red zone of any team in the country. Lorenzo Nunez, Perry Orth and Brandon Wilds scored on TD runs for the Gamecocks in the first half. Wilds, a senior from Blythewood, added his second TD of the season in second half and rushed for a season-high 128 yards. Orth went 15-24 passes for 192 yards and two interceptions. Texas A&M returned one of those picks for a touchdown in the 3rd quarter. Murray had 269 total yards in the first half. The freshman QB ended up 20-28 passing for 223 yards and a TD. He ran 20 times for 156 yards and another score.
