Cayce Riverwalk closed as water in Congaree River rises

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — The Congaree River has reached 21 feet and all phases of the Cayce Riverwalk have been shut down. Photos taken by our Beth Rousseau show picnic tables and benches submerged by the Congaree River. Officials say as the water recedes and clean up is complete the Riverwalk will reopen.
