Last Day to Register for Operation Santa Claus

NEWBERRY COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) — The Newberry County Sheriff‘s Office, along with the business community and residents are teaming up to provide gifts for the less fortunate during the holiday season. Today is the last day to register to receive assistance through “Operation Santa Claus.” Register at the Newberry County Sheriff‘s Office 550 Wilson Road, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. Parents/Guardians must present valid identification, a birth certificate for each child, and a utility bill to register children birth to 12 years of age Priority will be given to children who have not received help from Operation Santa Claus in the past or who are not on any other gift-giving program list.
