UPDATE: NASCAR legend Greg Biffle and family killed in plane crash at Statesville Regional Airport
Multiple witnesses and family friends have told WCCB Charlotte that Biffle and his wife, Cristina, were on board the Cessna C550 business jet.
A business jet belonging to local NASCAR legend Greg Biffle crashed and was engulfed in flames at Statesville Regional Airport this Thursday morning. The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office confirms multiple people died in the crash.
