Brewer, a redshirt junior from Latta, S.C., hit .208 with four homeruns and 24 runs driven in last season.
Coastal carried over the momentum from the game one ninth-inning walk-off win into the nightcap, as Johnson and Rowan, Jr. hit back-to-back opposite-field home runs into the ECU jungle beyond the outfield wall to put the Chanticleers on top 3-0 after one inning of play.
Reece Fields was the winning pitcher while John Michael Faile made a memorable return to the lineup with a home run in his first at bat since the Conference Carolinas Tournament.
The walk-off win was the fifth of the season for the Chanticleers.
