Missing Lexington County Inmate Captured

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Update: Deputies with the Lexington County Detention Center captured a missing inmate shortly after 6:30pm Monday. Deputies were actively looking for the detainee who ran off from the Lexington Medical Center Monday. SCE&G Donates $1Million to help Needy with Utility Bills

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) – South Carolina Electric & Gas Co. is providing $1 million toward helping poor, elderly and disabled customers pay their utility bills. SCE&G announced Monday its donation to The Salvation Army of the Carolinas. The nonprofit’s regional offices in Aiken, Beaufort, Charleston, Columbia and Orangeburg will distribute the money.
