Prince’s Drummer, Midlands Native Passes Away

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO) Remembering a man who truly marched to his own beat. According to his wife, Columbia native John Blackwell died Tuesday at 43. The former Prince drummer was diagnosed with brain tumors last year. In addition to Prince, Blackwell also performed with Patti Labelle and Cameo, among others.
