USC Special Teams Hopes To Bounce Back

Special teams coach Joe Robinson’s unit had a tough day at Florida last Saturday, but he believes they’ll be ready to go again this week against the Vols. “They’re back and working hard,” he said of his special teams. “They’re working like they do every week. Every week we have things we have to fix. Some of them this week were probably a little more obvious to everybody.”

Wake Limps Into Clemson Game

Wake Forest is figuring out how to do more with less. Two of the Demon Deacons’ top four receivers are hurt. They’ve played all year with a makeshift offensive line. They had eight players serve suspensions of varying length for off-field incidents. Yet heading into this week’s game with No. 14 Clemson, the Demon Deacons (4-3, 2-3 Atlantic Coast Conference) have done just enough to win and keep themselves in contention for a second straight bowl berth.
