Spurrier, Swinney Named to Bryant Watch List
South Carolina head football coach Steve Spurrier and Clemson head football coach Dabo Swinney have been named to the Watch List for the 2011 Bryant Coach of the Year award.
It’s a Dance Party at Clemson
After Clemson’s 59-38 victory over North Carolina on Saturday, Tiger head coach Dabo Swinney celebrated the victory with his players by dancing in the locker room. Clemson officials have told ABC Columbia its not the first time Swinney has done this, and probably not the last.

Xavier McDaniel told ESPN Monday that his daughter Xylina, the S.C. 2010 high school girls basketball player of the year, verbally committed to North Carolina. McDaniel picked UNC over USC.

Clemson-Georgia Tech To Air On ABC Columbia
Clemson’s ACC match-up at Georgia Tech this Saturday will air on ABC Columbia at 8 p.m. Saturday. Sunday, the Tigers (8-0) moved up to #5 in the new BCS standings and senior Kourtnei Brown was named the Walter Camp National Defensive Player of the Week after scoring two touchdowns against North Carolina.
Newton Leads Panthers To 2nd Win
Cam Newton ran for a touchdown and threw for another in the second half to lead the Carolina Panthers to a 33-20 win over the Washington Redskins. Newton finished with 256 yards passing and ran for 59 more.
