Today is Arbor Day, and students right here in the Midlands celebrated in a special way. Several classes at Leaphart Elementary gathered outside the school to plant a tree with the help of Dominion Energy.
Students and faculty at the University of South Carolina planted two new trees as part of a tree replacement initiative on the university’s campus.
COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–The City of Columbia celebrated South Carolina Arbor Day Friday at South Kilbourne Elementary School.
