Residents recover in Saluda County despite majority without power
More than half of Dominion Energy customers in Saluda County are still without power as of Wednesday afternoon.
The Saluda County Coroner’s Office says they have completed its investigation into 4 fatalities that were reported during Hurricane Helene.
The City of Columbia said in conjunction with Richland County, South Carolina Emergency Management Division and FEMA there will be a crews performing damage assessments throughout the city.

“It was absolutely amazing, and just incredible. But then it was also hard too, because we knew somebody was coming to get us, and it was just sad to think of all we were leaving behind, and two it was just a vacation for us, but these people lost everything,” says Wanda Hein.
