Federal regulators have lessened the severity of their warning about cracks discovered in a backup emergency fuel line at a South Carolina nuclear plant northwest of the state capital.
The Fairfield County Coroner has identified the individual who was involved in a fatal collision on State Hwy 213 near Alston Rd. in Jenkinsville in the early hours of March 6.
The United States Geological Survey reported a 1.8 magnitude earthquake near Jenkinsville just before 6:30 this morning. Officials reported a second earthquake in the same region just minutes later.
