In just the first week of school, Lexington One School District saw more than 300 COVID cases. This number is more than in any week in the previous school year.
Hopkins Middle School’s principal is happy with the district’s decision to have a mask mandate.
“I’m so glad that they’re back in school. I really am,” said Camden parent Lindsey Gainey.
Tomorrow, the Lexington-Richland School District Five Board of Trustees will meet to discuss finding an interim superintendent.
