Former Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins caught a 2-yard touchdown with 1 second left to help Buffalo beat Minnesota Sunday 17-16. The rookie first round draft pick had 9 catches, 122 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns on the game. Former Clemson running back C.J. Branch Injured In Jaguars' First Win

Former Clemson standout defensive end Andre Branch injured his groin Sunday in the fourth quarter of Jacksonville's first win of the season, 24-6 over Cleveland. Cody Proveaux shot a three-under-par 69, his eighth under-par round of the fall, and finished third individually to lead Clemson to a 10th place team finish at the U.S. Collegiate at the Golf Club of Georgia on Sunday. Swinney:Watson To Miss Four Weeks

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said Sunday that freshman quarterback Deshaun Watson will have four screws put in his finger to heal a small broken bone and will need a month of recovery before returning for the 24th-ranked Tigers. Swinney said Watson would have the procedure Monday. The first-year starter hurt the finger on his right, throwing hand in the second quarter of a 23-17 victory over Louisville on Saturday.
