HOPKINS, S.C. (AP) — Richland County is celebrating its international flavor this weekend.

County officials are teaming up with the public library system and the nonprofit Columbia International Festival to host a party Saturday in Hopkins.

Organizers say the daylong, family friendly event includes international cultural performances by ethnic dancers and traditional melodies from countries including Austria, Germany, Israel, Mexico, West Africa, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Spain and Thailand.

There is also an international food court with ethnic dishes from all over the world including Mexico, Philippines, India and Thailand.
